I was not impressed with the drawing in the 3.5 D&D Players Handbook of the various races, so I did my own. I'm more old school with what elves and halflings are supposed to look like in the D&D universe so I made them more like how they are described in the 1st edition Players Handbook, where the halflings are essentially Tolkein-esk hobbits and the elves' eyes were less comicly exaggerated in regards to how slanted they were. On Elfwood this picture gets a lot of criticism, mainly in regards to the circumcision of the Half-orc, so I will explain it in detail as to why I chose to have him cut while the rest still retain their foreskins: After taking a numerous amount of anthropology courses in college I found that many warlike cultures ritually scar their men as a rite of passage into adulthood, among them being circumcision. A lot about orc culture, from what I've read over the years, they focus a lot on reproduction and war, so I figured they would more than likely be one of those kind of cultures that practice circumcision.
On Elfwood everyone seemed to be fixated on the penis'. That's not the point. I figured if I was going to draw a height/weight scale of the various races with the women being nude, I was obligated to do the same thing with the men. Not trying to be pornographic in any way
